The Nirdosh Jagota Scholarship was created for US-based graduate and undergraduate students. Founded by Dr. Nirdosh Jagota, a pharmaceutical and biotechnology professional with more than three decades of experience, the initiative reflected his commitment to education and the next generation of leaders.

Purpose of the 2024 program

The scholarship aimed to help students pursue their academic goals by reducing financial barriers to education. Its purpose was to recognize academic potential and support students as they developed the knowledge and skills to contribute to their communities.

About the founder, Nirdosh Jagota

Dr. Nirdosh Jagota has worked in pharmaceutical and biotechnology regulatory affairs and quality. His education includes studies at the Indian Institute of Technology in Varanasi, a master’s degree from the University of Toledo and a PhD from the University of Georgia.
